	PRE-OP Decay is present on the mesio-occlusal surface of #14.
	INTRA-OP The Waterlase MD allows for precise cavity preps with no pain, needles or drills (in most cases). Plus, you'll remove minimal amounts of tissue, helping the patient to preserve as much tooth structure as possible.
	ONE-WEEK POST-OP The composite restoration is placed within minutes of the procedure beginning, and the patient was sent on their way with no discomfort or no numb lip.

• Class I, II, III, IV, and V cavity preparation
• Caries removal
• Hard tissue surface roughening or etching
• Enameloplasty, excavation of pits and fi ssures for placement of sealants
• Osseous crown lengthening
• Cutting, shaving, contouring and resection of oral osseous tissues (bone)
• Osteoplasty and osseous recontouring (removal of bone to correct osseous defects and create physiologic osseous contours)
• Ostectomy (resection of bone to restore bony architecture, resection of bone for grafting, etc)
• Cutting bone to prepare a window access to the apex (apices) of the root(s).
• Apicoectomy - amputation of the root end.
• Root end preparation for retrofill amalgam or composite.
• Tooth preparation to obtain access to root canal
• Root canal preparation including enlargement
• Root canal debridement and cleaning
